Bossy Cosmetics Brush Review
Good morning beauties ! ♡
I hope you all got enough beauty sleep last night. If you didn't though, no need to fear. I have some great tools that create a flawless look to review for you today.
I had been on the hunt for some brushes for a while. I had bought from ebay and they never arrived, I missed out on a great iherb sale for real techniques brushes and I was nearly at my witts end. Thankfully I had remembered about Bossy Cosmetics.
I have previously reviewed Bossy's brush shampoo and conditioner here, and being a passionate supporter of the brand I was more than happy to spend my pennies on their brushes.
Anyway here's the nitty gritty. The brush set is a 10 piece set. The deal I purchased also came with a free case too!
The brushes include : big powder brush, blusher brush, contouring brush, foundation brush, eye blender, concealer/eye brush, eye shadow brush, slanted eye brush, eye sponge and brow and lash comb.
The brushes are made of synthetic material and are not tested on animals.

I love the note included which explains what brush to use for what. Helps a geek like me out immensely! |
My favourite of these brushes is the big powder brush. It is so soft and gorgeous. My son likes to be tickled with this one too, so it's fit for a king! Closely followed by the angled brush, which is key for the perfect brows.
You can purchase your Bossy brushes from their website here and they ship worldwide. If you follow them on facebook (here) you are often able to get a good bargin on the brush sets !
What brushes do you use?

Hi Beauties!
Welcome back to the blog. Today I have an exciting new product to tell you about. Its from a new brand that has recently launched in New Zealand and specialises in all things brush related.
They're called Bossy Cosmetics and they're fab!
The message behind Bossy is to be the Boss of your own destiny, don't let anyone hold you back. Pretty empowering right?!
First impressions -
The packaging is plain and effective. Black and white with a pop of pink from the cleaning pad, which stands out. It looks very girly, which I love, and it has thorough instructions on the back of the box so you can't get it wrong!
The brush cleaning shampoo smells delicious. Its a beautiful blend of vanilla and coconut - two of my favourite smells. There's something calming and relaxing about the scent of it, which makes cleaning your brushes less stressful chore.
The brush cleaning pad itself is a soft pink colour. It has a suction cup on the back which allows you to stick it to your bathroom so that its ready to use. It has little hearts and bubbles on it which is a nice touch!
Cleaning my brushes were a breeze. I have to admit, my brush hadn't been cleaned in a loooong time. Alot longer than it should have been! So I was really looking forward to putting Bossy to the test. The pump on the shampoo allows you to dispense only a small amount at a time, which means little waste.
After pumping a small amount onto the cleaning pad I began to swirl my brush around until I had worked up a good lather. I wanted to give my brush a really good clean so I spent a few minutes really focusing on getting it right.
Next I ran the brush under the tap to rinse whilst running it over the rinsing side of the pad (Cue Phoebe Buffay singing 'Lather, Rinse, Repeat!'). It was amazing, and gross, seeing just how much build up was coming out of my brush! I think its safe to say that they are alot more cleaner and hygienic now!
I did find that I had to stick the pad onto a hard surface to as I was cleaning as it is quite flimsy by itself.
Overall I was thoroughly impressed with how clean my brushes turned out. Bossy has been such a friendly company to deal with and it's always great to support NZ made! You can purchase Bossy products online by clicking here.
Have you used Bossy before? xx
