You can never go wrong with a matte lip. Matte lip's don't transfer onto your coffee cup, rub of on your teeth, or transfer onto your boyfriend. It's a win win situation right?
L'Oreal Paris have brought out 6 new shades that give you the freedom and confidence to create bold matte lip's. That's a pretty bold statement for me to make about lipstick's but these lipstick's are a little different in the way that they work. More on that later, but first let me introduce these gorgeous shades to you!
My first impression of these lipstick's were how classy but fun they look. The packaging is sleek and the colourful cap's make it super easy to know which colour your after. I like the range of colours available too. I think Silencio is the perfect nude while I can see that I gotta feeling will become one of my favourite everyday colours.
The applicator of these lipstick's is a little strange. It is a small angled sponge on the end which you press down on. Obviously the harder your press the more colour that is exuded. This applicator is designed to give you the creativity and freedom to create your own ombre lips, if you desired. With the colour's in this collection it would be easy to pair two together and give it a go.
I find the formula of these a little chalky and L'Oreal describe the formula as a 'combination of powder pigment, oil, polymers and velvet spheres'. For a matte lipstick with 10 hour wear is pretty damn good though! I will have to put these to the test one day next week for you and see how they hold up for the ten hours.

My personal favourite's are Silencio and I gotta feeling. These can be picked up from everywhere that stock's L'oreal or online and retail for $23.99 each. They're worth the investment!
