LE TAN // Express Tan

I was recently lucky enough to be sent two bottles and a tanning mitt from the babes at le tan for me to review and I have a pretty in depth review ahead. So get your fruitburst's ready....

The two tan's I was sent were the Le Tan Express Instant Bronzing Spray* and Le Tan Express Instant Bronzing Mousse*. Both these bottles are part of a new 'express tan' formula that allows you to wash it off after 30 minutes but it will still keep developing and still be streak free. 

Le Tan is also a green based formula which gives a more natural looking tan rather than turning you orange. 

I first used the Le Tan Express Instant Bronzing Mousse along with the Le Tan Tanning Mitt* and had quite high expectations. I left the mousse on for about 40 minutes before showering and washing it off. As it came off, I noticed ALOT of product actually slipped off. I could see the tan sliding off with the water in the shower and hoped that I would be left looking like a bronze goddess. I'm not sure if I had the water too hot or it hadn't set on me properly before I washed it off but it was 80% gone. 

After feeling quite disappointed by the mousse, I had an event I was attending on the weekend and needed to try the Le Tan Express Instant Bronzing Spray out. Application of this was easy. Hold a wee distance away from the body and spray. I also used the tanning mitt to blend everything in large circles so that I was streak free. This is amazing. Within two hours, it had developed to a beautiful dark tan. Blending around my ankles and knee's were extremely easy too which is a bargain. I didn't wash this off until the next day and there was no transfer on the sheets overnight. I have had so many compliments from people asking what I've used because it looks so natural but great.

4 days later and it is still a nice deep bronze colour. It hasn't gone patchy and i'm really happy with it. The fact that you get to choose how long you leave it on for is great. Wash after 30 minutes for a soft bronze tan, after 1 hour for a deep bronze or after 2 for a dark bronze tan. My advice is to not stress if you can't get to the shower in the exact time you planned because it won't go too dark. I have no regret's leaving the bronzing spray on for about 10 hours before washing off. 

Le Tan Tanning Mitt* has been relaunched and oh god I could sleep on a bed of these things! It is so bloody soft. Its amazing. It also contains the highest quality microfibres for a smooth application. It really is the key to a flawless tan. The best part is it is reusable too!
