Lip Balm
Hi babes!
Our poor lips suffer during winter and i've spent one cold evening in the kitchen coming up with the easiest DIY lip balm to keep handy this winter.
These are all common ingredients that you will have handy, the hardest part for me was finding containers the right size (which I still haven't found the perfect containers!).
Ingredients
1 TBS Honey (Can be substitued with coconut or caster oil)
1/2 TBS Maple Syrup
2 TBS Sugar (any is fine. I used white sugar)
1 TBS Vaseline
Utensils
Small Bowl
Spoon or Stirrer.
Mix the honey and the sugar together. Add maple syrip and vaseline. Combine well.
You want to keep mixing this until all of the ingredients have mixed together nicely and the mixture looks smooth (although it wont be as it's sugar!).
This is super super hyrating and provides instant relief for your poor lips. You can alter the recipie a little to suit your liking if you like. For instance, if you would rather a more softer and smoother balm only add 1 & 1/2 TBS of sugar.

If you didn't catch my post on how to make the perfect lip balm, you can jump over to catch it here. Today i've made a lip exfoliater that I want to share with you.
If your wondering when to use a lip exfoliater I can shed some light for you. So twice a week you can apply it to your lips, leave for a minute and then wipe of with a face wipe. It is also good to exfoliate your lips before you apply a matte lipstick to get the best finish.
INGREDIENTS:
1 TBS sugar
A drizzle of honey OR coconut oil OR olive oil
1 small drop of strawberry essence
Tools
Small containers
Spoon or stirrer
Place sugar in a bowel. Drizzle in your choice of honey or oil and stir. You want to have enough oil so that the sugar combines to become sticky. Always start with a small drizzle and add to it if needed. Once the two items have combined add a small drop of strawberry essence.
Place together and set!
How super easy is this!! I hope you all give this a go and treat those gorgeous lips of yours.
