Oasis beauty
Oasis beauty is fast becoming one of my favourite beauty brands in New Zealand.
Recently I have been lucky enough to try their BB Cream*. It is suitable for all skin types and is an all in one moisturiser, mineral foundation, concealer, anti- ageing and skin correcting treatment AND a sunscreen. That is a lot to promise for one product and I can confidently say that it delivers.
The Oasis Beauy BB Cream comes in three fun shades - Bardot, Monroe and Hepburn. It is a full coverage BB Cream and I was personally so suprised when I first use this. The coverage is comparable to my full coverage foundations, yet when this is on I feel light and forget im wearing any make up!
With summer coming up it's important to start looking for products that have an SPF in them and the Oasis Beauty BB Cream has an SPF of 15. There are many other benefits of this BB Cream inclyding pomegranate, red grape skin extract, rosehip, jojoba and vitamins B5, C and E.
I was excited to try the pump out as most of my other BB creams are in a tube. I like how this comes out so easily and you have very little wastage. It is a huge bottle and im sure it will last me quite a while!
Before I apply it, I prime my skin with a bit of moisturiser. By using a thin layer of moisturiser I feel it just gives my skin that little bit extra layer to help to blend the BB cream. Next I apply two pumps of the BB cream to my hand and buff it into my skin with a stipple brush (Two pumps generally does 3/4 of my face, I then just use small amounts after that to finish).
It's true that a little goes a long way and by buffing it into your skin you really do end up with an even finish and flawless result.
After a full day I still have alot left on my face. It doesnt become patchy at all and is so lightweight, perfect for summer. I would confidently say that you get a good 8 hour's wear out of it if you set it with a normal setting spray.
My shade is the Monroe and that is for Light sin tones. It gives full coverage with a gorgeous matte finish. The Bardot is the shade for light skin tones that want medium coverage and a dewy finish. The Hepburn is for those beauties with a medium skin tone who are after full coverage and matte finish. All of these three shades retail for $49.90. Which I highly recommend spending that money to invest in this!

I first discovered oasis beauty about a year ago when I heard about their BB creams. After trying out samples of the BB ' S they became a staple in my make up kit.
I also swear by their rhino repair cream. Not only does it soothe my super cracked heels and dry elbows, it also significantly improves my sons nappy rash and eczema.
Straight Up
Straight up is an oil and blemish control serum. I was quite suprised at how runny the oil was. I think I was expecting it to be a little thicker so got a shock when I had to catch it from sliding off! It is non greasy and contains a cocktail of important ingredients for your skin. These include a range of vitamins especially for anti ageing and targeted for areas such as your "smile line" which include vitamin a and e.
I applied this as part of my daily make up routine over those pesky blemishes and massaged it into my skin using my hands.
Hot Toddy
Hot Toddy a serum that you apply after cleansing and toning your skin. This also contains important anti ageing vitamins such as vitamin A, C and E which all work together in a powerful cocktail to control oil production and breakouts.
It is very hydrating and this one is specifically for dry skin. It can be used after you have showered in the morning or at night before bed. Personally I put this on when I put my night cream and eye cream on before bed as I like it to do its magic while I sleep. You only need to massage a small pump gently into your skin to see results.
I have noticed a significant difference in the appearance of my skin. It appears have more of a glow to it in the mornings and it also feels alot softer. I'm not waking up and feeling as if my skin is stretchy and pulled but rather now softer and with a little glow.
Oasis beauty is also cruelty free! It always makes you feel good supporting a company that care about animal testing.
