So it has been a while since I have done a 'tag' and I really do enjoy doing them. So after our discussion during the #nzbloggers chat a few weeks ago, I found this one to type up! Link me down below your post if you have done it too! xx
Do you remember your first makeup item?
An Australis eye liner. I didn't really get into make up until after high school but the one thing I used everyday was an eye liner.
Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
My perfect mascara would one that separates and dramatically lengthens. I haven't found one and I like to mix up my mascaras but the closest one to "perfect" would be MAC Haute and Naughty.
What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?
medium to full coverage.
Favorite high end brand?
I have to admit that I have a soft spot for Elizabeth Arden. It was the first brand I got into. My nana gives me all her make up she buys so she can have the free bag! Haha
What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven’t?
Urban Decay, I still have the Naked palette on my wishlist, hope to get this year!! Also too faced.
Favorite drugstore brand?
Rimmel. High quality products at affordable prices. Love their Kate Moss lipstick range to!
Do you wear fake eyelashes?
I have recently warn them for the first time and I loved them. Took a while to adjust as they are a little heavy but I am hooked. And it was a Kmart brand !
Is there any kind of makeup you can’t leave the house without?
Mascara. Makes my little blonde lashes visible!
What is your most cherished beauty product?
My beloved strobe cream.
How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?
I tend to get them here and there now that I'm a stay at home mum. I do miss going to the MAC counter and spending $250 on products in one go
Do you have a “beauty budget” or you spend freely?
I like to keep foundations under $25 and lipsticks are hard as the cheapest here is $21 ! I think it depends on how I'm feeling that day.
What type of product do you buy the most of?
Lipsticks, I'm in a wave of buying lipsticks now, one of each colour I'd the goal!
Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens or sulfates?
Of course. And I think everybody must do it too!
Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?
On line stores work the best for me or Kmart has a huge range which general has something on special.
Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?
I love buying new products that catch my eye but I'm in a routine with my favs at the mo.
Favorite bath and body brand?
Victoria's Secret, all the products smell so good. And I wish I was an angel.
Do you like multifunctional products like lip and cheek stains?
Nope. Nor do I like those 6 in 1 shirts you can get.
Are you clumsy in putting makeup?
yes ! I am very clumsy in general. Forever fixing.
Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
Nope. I think there is a lot of people out there on YouTube you can learn from .
What do you love about makeup?
How pretty I feel with it, how powerful it is. Also, how girls immediately bond over it!

What foundation do you use?
I use a natio foundation for light skin. My L'oreal infallible one has just run out so I'm waiting for it to be on special to purchase again.
How about concealer?
MAC studio fx NC25! I have recently been gifted an avon concealer from the beauty swap and use this too. I probably use this more than the MAC one lately!
What do you think of fake eyelashes?
As long as they're not to over the top and you know how to apply them they look great. I wish I could apply them instead I'm to scared I'll get glue in my eyes! Haha
What brand of mascara do you use?
I have four I alternate between. MUA, Napoleon Perdis, MAC and maybelline.
Sephora or MAC?
If we had sephora here I would chose them!
What makeup tools do you use in makeup application?
Brushes and my fingertips!
Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
I apply primer all over my face, including eyes. I don't have a specific eyelash primer.
For the face?
Absolutely. Not to prime is a crime!
What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
MAC and I can't remember the name. It has brown and gold mixed together topped with a little shimmer.
Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Liquid for the top. If I line the bottom I would use pencil.
What is your favorite lipstick?
MAC royal azalea.
How about lipgloss?
Baby lips by maybelline
What is your favorite blush to use?
Make up rev !
Do you like drugstore makeup?
Yeah to a certain extent. Drugstore has a different meaning here in NZ. Maybelline etc are drugstore brand but not drugstore prices. I'm not keen on super cheap drugstore brands like jordana.
Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
Hmmmm. Not really. Work has given me beauty knowledge and YouTube is a whole bible of tips and tricks.
Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Yes! Smudging and bumping. Argh.
Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
Colorful!
If you had to choose just ONE makeup item, what would it be?
Can. Not. Decide.
In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
Easy, breezy, beautiful cover girl. Only because I'm a top model fan too and they say this lots!!
What do you think of Makeup??
It's great. Real beauty comes from within thou. I think we all love make up bit some people can be quite clicky and almost like school yard bullies and that intimidates me. But we all have a right to love make up and there's more then enough to go around!
So now I get to tag some beautiful people to do the tag!!
1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
Pallets and eyeshadows! The thought of parting with my lipsticks makes me nervous and atleast if you have mascara and eyeliner you can make your eyes pop without eye shadow!

2. Would you rather chop all of your hair off or never be able to cut it again?
Ummmm never cut it again. #longhairdontcare haha
3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink for sure! I love a subtle pink cheek. Gives you a bit of colour especially for us pasty white girls ;)
4. If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Makeup. Where was the question?
5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner as lipstick! That sounds do-able. Not to sure about the other way around.
6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Well thats a hard one. If we HAD Sephora in NZ then I would ONLY shop in Sephora. But we don't. So my answers MAC.
7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
One eyeshadow! Brown makes my eyes pop so stick with that then have endless options of lippys!
8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Summer clothes in winter!
9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails! Pinks, purples, reds.
10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip colour or favourite eye product?
Normally I would say eye colour but I'm totally loving my make up rev palette so this is very hard! Hmmm.. Yeah guna have to give up the eye product! Attached but not to attached just yet!
11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or messy bun?
Ponytail. Classic style.
12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never use lip gloss! I very rarely use a gloss at the moment. It's normally a lipstick or no lip colour at all.
13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Argh. Why is this question so tough! The thought of no eye brows is funny but the thought of bad drawn on eyebrows is hilarious.

Nail polish! For sure!! Xx
