international box swap
I hope you have all been keeping well! I'm so sorry this post has taken so long to put up but my laptop charger broke and everything went a bit crazy. But anyway!
The lovely Emmy and I decided it would be fun to do a bit of a beauty swap and
introduce each other to brands we might not necessarily have in our countries. You can check out what Emmy recieved by clicking here.

Make up
I was super lucky that Emmy included some samples of benefits they're real mascara and roller lash that she had and they have been so well used by me! I love them! The loreal infallible eye shadow is also a favourite of mine and I love it do much I've actually brought some more eyeshadows in the infallible range this week. The nars and nyx lipsticks were the first products I have tried from both brands and they are so great too!
Hair
These hair pins look fascinating! They promise to make it super easy to do three hairstyles easily. I'm yet to try them but will report back. The elastics are fantastic and they don't break when a two year old rips them out of your hair.

Nails
These espionage nail stickers were so cool! I loved the little designs on them and it was a great way to spice up my nails easily. They promised two weeks wear but unfortunately most of these came off in the shower the next day. The nail polish remover pads are fantastic also and don't smell bad at all. These can be picked up from the warehouse if your in NZ too.

Face masks
Wow so many gorgeous face masks to choose from (thanks so much Emmy!). I haven't used any of these yet because life has been hectic but I am about to use one tonight. I will blog about these individually when I use them :)

Hello beauty babes !!
I hope the sun is shining where you are. Recently, Gemma from mccarthysbeautyreview and I decided that we were going to do a Christmas beauty box swap. You may recall our earlier box swap early in the year, and you can check that out here.
This is what I was lucky enough to recieve.
MUA merged trip eyeshadow
I am falling more and more in love with the brand MUA. Three gorgeous shadows which blend together to give a nice smokey eye.
Collection Lock N Hold Lip gloss in Break Dance
The colour of the packaging reminds me of tutti fruit. It gives the impression that it's highly pigmented but it isn't. This is more like a sheer gloss with a coral tint. Love the name of the colour though!
Make Up Revolution - the matte effect foundation
I am the first one to say just how much I love this brand and the work they do with bloggers. This foundation is good. The texture is slightly runnier then I would like but gives a solid 8 hours of coverage.
Lumiere d'hiver super comb prep and protect spray
The worst thing about this spray is the long ass name. Ain't nobody got time for that! It works really well though. Three pumps in my hair and it's easily detangled and easily brushed.
Dream Dot's for Spots
You can read my full review on dream dots by clicking here.
Origin modern friction natural dermabrasion
This is another exfoliater. It gets quite foamy when you work up a good lather. Really soft on your skin and a small amount goes a long way.
Avon Parrafin hand creme
My favourite thing about this one is the adorable christmas packaging. It's so chrismasy and themed for the holiday season.
Avon light moisture refreshing face gel
Avon's light moisture fave gel is scented like cucumber. I use this as a night cream because it drys my face out a bit, however it also leaves your face looking quite matte.
Lush bath bomb
Lush bath bombs are so delicious! Unfortunately the postman wasn't so kind to this one. But it smells divine! I can smell a hint of cocoa in it. I'm yet to use it but will keep you posted with the end results.
Whish lavender body butter
This body butter has a slight runnier texture than a butter. I would just call it a moisturiser but it smells absolutely gorgeous. A light hint of lavender which is quite relaxing .
Vasanti brightening cream
This little one is a face brightening cream. You wash your face and it exfoliates at the same time. I found it to be quite rough, though it does brighten and clean your face well.
The Body Shop choc lip butter
This yummy lip butter us from the Choco mania range. It smells more like hazelnut which reminds me of Nutella...yummy!
Thank you again Gemma for these goodies. Can't wait to explore them more. Have you got any thing on your wishlist? What are your thoughts on these products ?
