Who is your beauty biggest inspiration?
I don't really have one person thats my biggest beauty inspiration. I tend to use social media such as pintrest to find looks that I would like to recreate.
What beauty sins are you guilty of?
Not taking my make up off before bed! Im so bad at it! Sometimes im just to tired and theres so many other things that need attending to before sleep. And sometimes you just need to crash at night in your own bed :)
What has been the best moment so far this year
It would have to be seeing my son (11months) develop. He now crawls and stands and started talking. Its just amazing that hes turning into his own little person with his own character.
What inspired you to get into blogging?
Seeing other people blog and I thought hey I could do this! The friendships you make along the way and the people you meet are also such a huge gift.
How do you cheer yourself up when you’re sad?
Chocolate! And wine... and a good lipstick!
Favourite smell – could be food, flowers, or perfume etc?
I love the smell of vanilla scented candals. Especially burning in your house. It makes me feel homely and welcomed. Also in winter I love the smell before it gets dark of people's fires burning and the crisp wind.
You’re running late – choose 3 the only 3 make up items you would apply.
Mascara ( Otherwise it looks like I have no eyelashes!), foundation or a BB cream (to give a nice all over colour) and a lipstick.
What’s your favourite lip balm?
It would have to be LUSH's ULTRA BALM. Its a miracle cream. You can put it on your lips, chaffing, as an eyeshadow primer.
Worst beauty item you’ve tried, and what was so bad about it?
I can't remember what company made it but it was a sticky lipstick. I am not a fan of the lipsticks that are so wet and sticky your lips stick together. It feels like you have just got PVA glue and pasted that over your lips!
Who is your favourite beauty blogger?
Again I dont have a specific one but I am finding all these amazing bblog's to follow through twitter. There are some seriously gifted people out there!
And who is your favourite beauty vlogger/youtuber?
Mally beauty (mally roncol) is my favourite. We have a popular vlogger called 'Shaaanxo' from NZ and she is very popular however I find her video's a bit to awkward at times. She rambles quite a bit.
