Beauty collab - purple make up

One of the hottest new trends to come off the runway this year is the purple makeup. In collaboration with Lena from Lena talks beauty we've decided to show you two ways to incorporate it into your make up.

I'm going to show you a range of purple lipsticks. These all range from $2-$45 so there's something to suit Everyone's budget. Lena is going to show you eye make up you can do with the colour purple so make sure you check it out!

The great thing about purple is it's got so many shades to it. You can opt for something more lavender or if your confident you can rock a deep purple.

So without further or do let me introduce them all to you!

L-R - MAC Fabulously Fab!, MAC Asian Flower, Maybelline mirrored plum
Jordana Geranium and Lips and Tips Berrylicious.

Maybelline colorsensational high shine lipgloss in mirrored plum. $19.99 RRP
This is a lovely rich purple colour that has quite a bit of a shine to it. You do need to reapply often and the look can be quite sticky if you apply to much so go easy to begin with.

Jordana cosmetics in 027 Geranium. $3.00 RRP
This one is more of a fuschia/purpley colour. It's quite low pigmented so if your after a bang of colour then you would need to apply a few times. Another tip is apply a clear gloss over top to give a bit of sparkle.

MAC cosmetics in Asian flower. $45 RRP
This is one of the supreme sheen range. It's a very creamy purple filled with lots of moisturizer. This is one of the more expensive purple lipsticks were covering. It's highly pigmented so be careful not to smudge it!

Lips and tips in berrylicious. $4.00 RRP
This lippy is exactly what the name says... Very berry! It's exactly the colour of berries that you would imagine. I really like how much of a deep purple this one is. Very affordable!

MAC lustreglass in fabulously fab! $30RRP
This one is applied with a sponge so holds a lot of colour in the brush so all you need is one swipe. It has the slightest bit of shimmer in it to add a bit of a sparkle. It also has a small bit of fragrance in it so when you open the lid you get a nice whiff of the smell! It kind of reminds me of the smell of Nivea or dove!

Swatched! L-R: Asian Flower, Geranium, Berrylicious,
Fabulously fab! and Mirrored Plum
