7 beauty commandments

Hi gal pals!

So I've been thinking about what my top 7 beauty commandments are and would love to know yours! so let me share mine with you.

1) THOU SHALT REMOVE ALL MAKE UP BEFORE BED

Even though I try to do this every night, sometimes I don't manage to. But this is no excuse! I know the importance of letting your skin breathe and that's why this is commandment number one.

2) THOU SHALT CLEAN MAKE UP BRUSHES REGULARLY

could you imagine all the bacteria and grub that would stack up in our brushes if we never cleaned them out?! Ewwwww!! I wash mine with a little bit of baby shampoo and water and then leave them out to dry. It always surprise just how much foundation comes out of your foundation brush. Gross! 

3) THOU SHALT CLEANSE, TONE AND EXFOLIATE. 

it's so important to keep your skin healthy. These three easy steps are what you should be doing AT LEAST twice a week. I think the best feeling is exfoliating and having skin as smooth as a baby's bottom. 

4) THOU SHALT APPLY EYE CREAM

Our poor eyes. They get caked in make up yet they're such a sensitive spot on our face and they dry out really easily. An eye cream helps to nourish and repair your poor little peepers. I also have quite prominent eye bags and a night cream helps with making those bags less visible. 

5) THOU SHALT TRY NEW LIPSTICK COLOURS

I think its so huge to take a leap and try a new colour every now and again. Something bold like an orange or bright red! or if you normally love colour try a deep purple or even black. Expand your horizons!

6) THOU SHALT KEEP HYDRATED

Its no secret that we should be drinking 8 cups of water a day but our skin NEEDS it! Try keeping a water bottle with you so its always there and every time you see it, take a drink. Or another person told me how they drink 1L before Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I probably couldn't drink 1 L in one go but whatever works for ya!

7) THOU SHALT LEARN HOW TO DO A SMOKEY EYE

I am pretty simple and if I can learn how to do it anyone can! ha ha! Have a look on pintrest. Its an amazing site that has many different methods to create a smokey eye and the best thing is they are step by step. I'm sure there are 1000 youtube guru's who also will show you there way to create the look.
