Hi beautiful readers,
Being an international flight attendant you visit many duty free stores and the New Zealand stores are expanding so quickly. They're constantly improving and growing every year, adding some of the big names such as Benefit, MAC and Bobbi Brown.
This also includes the duty free stores in New Zealand. Duty Free has recently added to their make up counters and now include brands such as YSL, Lancome, OPI, Chanel, Dior and so many more.
For those of you who are travelling out of NZ it pays to know what you want to buy before you get to duty free so that your not holding up the flight or missing a connection. The best way to do that is by visiting the website and sussing it out. You can view their website by clicking here. The most efficient option is to visit the online store and select the items you wish to purchase for when you are flying, then once you get to duty free you simply pay and walk away. They have everything pre packed and ready for you. This leaves more time for the things that matter, pre take off drinks ;)
Duty free is shops can be up to 20% cheaper than the normal retail price so it pays to make the most of the opportunity when you can! Why is it cheaper you ask? Because you are don't have to pay the added GST rate that you normally would if you were to walk into a store here.
Of course not only is there just make up and skin care, but alcohol, sunglasses, confectionary and even electronics.
What is your favourite thing to buy duty free? Have you visited the NZ Duty Free online store lately and seen any great specials? Let me know!!
Ciao xxx
