My 2015 beauty resolutions

Hi babes!

I know we are already into the year, but it's never to late to have some resolutions right? Well these are my beauty resolutions and I would love to hear yours!

1) Be Brave

So I know you shouldn't believe everything you read  but once in a magazine it said "people with blue eyes should only wear brown eye shadow" and I was like BIBLE! This was like a few years ago when I was an easily influenced teenager and old habits die hard. So I need to play with colours this year and spice it up.

2) Rotate.

You know those few products that you become attached to and just can't get enough of? I have them. A handful of them. And I have a whole bathroom draw of foundation's that are just as good of quality that I need to use. Time to branch out and rotate the staples.

3) Embrace The Empties.

I am a hoarder. I'll keep things just because we might need them one day in like 10 years time and I am so scared of having an empty make up product . If I'm coming close to it panning, I use it sparsely.  But I need to get a grip, we're not in a make up shortage! I'm sure I'll be able to find the exact same product easily.

4) Be Bold 

Make the change from the norm. I am normally a winged eye  + red lip kinda gal. It's my signature look. Totes need to change it up. Might try a smokey eye and nude lips? Or how about a nude eye with a gloss on the lips? My options are endless.

5) Speak up!

I sometimes feel intimidated by other bloggers who have formal training. And even girls with more confidence than me. They are so much more confident in themselves and the looks they create. But I need to just do it. I too can create looks and not everyone has formal training. It's all about how you interpret the look right ?

Also, I need to speak up if I don't like something. If a friend is like "I like such and such of a product" I normally just nod and agree and think "no way jose" but I need to be confident in speaking up and saying "good for you ! But I don't." Soz,  that got a bit personal!
