SUMMER COCKTAILS
Happy summer beach babes!!
Remember how I talked in the past about having a slight refresher from beauty post's and doing something different? Well here it is! I liked the idea of it being summer, and what goes hand in hand with the sun and beach? Delicious drinks!
This is something that my partner has helped collaborate with me on, as he likes to think he's a bartender (h'es just an electrician really!). We both love a good summer drink and want to share with you our favourites.
The drinks i'm going to share with you are super simple, as I like things to be simple and not to much hard work!
This is only a short series and there will be a new cocktail post each Friday throughout January, and then we will be back to the beauty stuff! Please note - I don't condone under age drinking. Please only consume alcohol if you are of legal age in your country.
Our first drink is......
The Pearl Harbour
This beauty is our go to summer drink. We first had it at the hotel restaurant in Hawaii. Its where ALOT of our money was spent and it is just delicious. I haven't had a single person who has tried it and not liked it (don't burst my bubbles!).
Ingredients:
1 shot Midori,
1 shot Vodka
Pineapple juice.
First fill your glass with a decent amount of ice. Place the two alcoholic shots into a tall glass.Fill the remainder of the glass with pineapple juice and stir. An alternative to the pineapple juice is tropical juice. It works just fine - however you don't get that real island feel from it.
