Hi babes!
Halloween is fast approaching. While we don't celebrate Halloween as such and what it means (I also think it's not a very kiwi tradition), we still dress up and go to light parties which are a family friendly alternative.
It's no secret that kids (and adults) loge to dress up. But take a quick glance at the dress ups out there and you will see butterflies, fairies, princesses, Elsa and many more gorgeous but feminine costumes.
As a mother of a little boy I too want the cute factor so have been trawling the Internet for the best costumes for our wee lads. Even better I have some inspo for matching outfits!
I have found the best stores for kids costumes that have a huge variety to be :
Local dollar store
As far as idea's go, I have scoured the internet for a few hours to find what I think you should consider this year.
Christina Aguilira does the right thing by matching her son here in skelleton outfits. I almost think that she's half channelling the pirae look with that eye patch? This outfit is super easy and affordable and you can pick it up at places like The Warehouse.
Rachel Zoe and her son Skyler look like they have strolled out of the desert as they rock the cowboy outfit. I love how Rachel Zoe has just paired a hat so that it's cheaper to have this look. Doesn't her son have the most gorgeous eyes!
This is an outfit look that my partner would be proud of. How cute and easy is his look! If your partner is into hunting as well then I am sure that you would already have the camo gear for your son and using make up and reindeer antlers you can easily pull of the deer look!
So here are my top three ideas for Halloween this year. I am on the hunt for a mickey mouse costume as I have a sneaky feeling my son and I may go as that. Buuuuuut I will probably change my mind before then!
What are you wearing for Halloween?
