Think Pink For Breast Cancer This October

October is breast cancer awareness month and im sure that every one of us will know of a close friend/family member who has been affected by breast cancer.

Today seven women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. That is seven to many! 650 people will pass away. We need to become familiar with what changes we should be worried about and also make sure we go for those mammograms and check ups. These are the things that can save our lives!

I associate the colour pink with breast cancer throughout October and I've put together my favourite pink products for you. This post is not sponsored by the NZBCF but I thought I would bring these points to your attention and tie it in with a beauty post some how :)

NZBCF

MAC Blush in Dainty
This blush is subtle, summery and buildable. A great way to add a healthy little pop to the cheeks.

OPI Nail Lacquer - Pompeii Purple
This is more of a pink but for some reason the name says purple - minor difference huh! Its a gorgeous shade that gives you a good 5 days without chipping. OPI is a classic brand with such high standards of polish.

Benefit - Roller Lash Mascara
Benefit is fast becoming known for their great mascara's and Roller Lash is no different. This mascara provides definition and length while giving a gorgeous soft curl.

Maybelline - Baby Skin Primer
I love love love this primer. It gives you a nice even glow. I find that it instantly puts a bit of life into your face and I often wear this alone with no make up. It's creamy texture buffs into the face nicely.

Maybelline Colour Elixer
The perfect sized lipstick to throw in your bag on the go. I love how it applies a gloss but dries to a lip stick.

Pink Bossy Make Up Blender
If you have never used a blender I suggest you crawl out of that rock you have been living under and go purchase one. Bossy Cosmetics has this lovely pink blender which I love. It cleanes easily and holds little product in the sponge, leaving the product on your face and blended in very nicely!

So over this weekend (OCT 9th/10th) you can donate to the NZBCF by texting  the word PINK to 4644 to donate $3 to the campaign. Alternatively  you will see people out on the streets taking donations and can purchase products in store such as key chains or dove which also contribute to the NZBCF.

Lipstick and love x!
