MUMLIFE // Conversations With My Four Year Old (2nd edition)

Hi guys!

A couple months ago I started a new series on the blog and today is the latest installment of "conversations with my four year old"! I hope these give you a wee giggle. He sure comes out with some funny things!

Changing baby's nappy and I see he has eaten a small gold sticker that has come out whole.
Me "what's that? It seems N has eaten a small gold sticker that's now in his poop!"
M "hey that's my sticker!"
Me "well your certainly not having it back now!"

"Mum if I get eaten by a snake I might miss you!

Looking at his baby photos 'man I was so cute"

Picked him up from kindy. "Mum can you buy me and minera  (teacher) plane tickets?" 'Sure where to?" "The south pole. We have to take a red plane there , not a jetstar. We will see penguins and they're alive!"

I had bribed mason to behave with a promise of frozen coke from McDonald's after we had taken the boys to the after hours doctor. He said "will you get one too mumma?" I said I feel like a frozen wine! Then as we were leaving the doctors room he's like 'mumma are we still getting a frozen coke and frozen wine?" I was like yes yes frozen coke. He's like 'and a frozen wine for you?!! " I was like  maybe! 😂

We baked a cake for great Nana's birthday. He decided to taste test a bit. When he first saw the cake he said 'its not big enough. Great Nana needs a big cake" then I gave him a small piece to try. A little icing got on his finger "mum the cake is sticky. I think you put too much sugar in it"

Christchurch suffered from 2 deadly earthquakes a few years ago. These were prior to M being born however he has experienced a few decent quakes in his life. One day he said 'hey mum. Do you remember those earthquakes?" I said yes I do. M "they made us build our kindy again. In a brand new kindy. Our kindy is cool"
