Elf
Brows are ride or die kinda things.
If your a beauty blogger and make up lover you will probably brush your brows more than you brush your hair. But finding the right product to use can be tricky, so I've put a few to the test. Over the course of a few days I have tried out three of what I consider to be popular drugstore brow products to see which are best for every day use.
Elf Brow Kit - in medium.
This is the only gel brow product I will be comparing today as I think the liquid/gel products should be compared to each other. This is a fantastic product that needs to be mentioned. This is a soft gel that comes with two shades. The darker brown is more suitable for brows and I'm not really sure why the other one is included because it was never used . Applying this is with a small angled brush is easy and even without setting your brows they stay on all day. I recommend this product for every day use as it's quick, easy, cheap and great.
Maybelline Brow Studio Pencil - soft brown*
Maybelline isn't too well known for their brow products so I was really interested in giving this one a go. The pencil is on one end and it comes with its own spooly on the other which is s bonus. I don't feel like this goes on smoothly and being a pencil you need to go in softly. It takes quite a bit of blending to make your brows have even coverage. I would recommend this product if you are seasoned at using brow pencils and have time to sit carefully and apply the pencil evenly without having any patches.
Billion Dollar Brows - Universal Brow Pencil*
The universal brow pencil is The brow pencil that everyone needs to have in their make up kit. It is a long pencil that also has a very decent sized spooly on the end of it. It's slick in it's silver packaging and comes in one colour which is a soft brown. The brow pencil is more of a crayon and life's in smoothly. It does become quite patchy when you first apply it so you will need go thoroughly brush it through with the spooly to even it out. The product is very slippery and needs to be set with a setting powder before you go anywhere!

Personally, I love how the universal brow pencil can be blending and brushed so easily to give even brow's but if im in a rush I will be reaching for the ELF kit. For beginner's I recommend the ELF brow kit because it is easy to manoeuvre and can be corrected easily. The maybelline product is easily accessible and super affordable, you just need to have a very light and steady hand when applying.
What do you use for your brows? I can't wait to get my hands on some ABH Dipbrow!

Product Review - ELF Matte Lip Color
Hi beauties ♡☆
When I first discovered Matte lipsticks I knew they would be perfect for all day wear. Now I've discovered ELF matte lipstick range and I know that not only is it perfect for every say wear but also very affordable.
A few weeks back I picked up the lip color in red and was hoping it would be a dupe for MAC's Ruby Woo. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with it being a dupe for ruby woo but I was still happy with the product.
The packaging is slim and sleek. The lipstick is in a round pencil like tube which makes it easy to store. When you apply, it's just like colouring in with a crayon. It glides nicely over your lips and feels smooth and creamy.
The colour pay off was great and lasted for about 4 hours. However, at the end of it the colour had faded significantly and started to bleed a little. So my pro tip would be to use in conjunction with a little lip liner and set it if you can with a powder.
Based on the fact it's affordable and highly pigmented, I am happy with it. I will happily be reaching for this product over summer !
Have you used any of the colours ? What do you think of these matte colours ? Xx

Aloha beautiful readers!!
So I love the look false eyelashes give you, especially the finished product with your mascara and eyeliner done. And after having a successful time with another elf product I thought why not give their lashes a go to.
I was tossing up between Kmart branded lashes and elf. They were around the same price and I thought id get elf.
So first off, in the eyelash kit you get one set of false lashes and adhesive glue. Stop right now and put the glue in the bin! It's terrible. Messy and doesn't hold in the slightest. I luckily had left over glue from a previous kmart set of lashes that I was able to use.

Once you trim them a bit and get them on they do look good. Run eyeliner over the top lash line to blend it in and mascara over the lashes for a more dramatic effect.
These are reusable or you could leave them on. I know of someone who kept them on for 20 days!! Bit extreme but whatevs!
How have you found these falsies?
Xx
Hi lovelies!
Recently I stepped out and bought my first ELF purchases! I purchased the undereye setting powder and a set of lashes. Today were going to be taking a closer look at that under eye setting powder.
I know its a problem area for so many of us, me included, so was automatically drawn to buying this in hope it would make my under eye bags disappear. The box says to 'apply after concealer, sweeping upward and blend' so thats exactly what I did.
The packaging is plain and simple with straight forward instructions. I brought this for $10NZD from my local k-mart store and the powder pottle is rather small as well. The back of the packet recommended that you throw this product out 6 months after opening. I like to use my make up wisely so im not continually buying more and after reading the 6 month thing I thought.. that doesn't seem like long! But after using it I would say this would last you maybe 3 months if you used it a couple times a week.
The small brush is dipped into the loose translucent powder and then brushed onto your undereye area. The brush is tiny so make sure you put it in a safe place.
I applied to both my eyes and then thought I would take an awkward selfie to show you the result:
I can definitely notice a difference and I think it does work. I am impressed with my first elf purchase! Have you used the undereye setting powder before? What is your favourite ELF product I should try?
Ciao Bella's! xx
