Today I will be reviewing a gift I got from my local supermarket last week. It's the Nivea facial cleansing kit and was supposed to be free when you purchased two Nivea products, but the checkout lady sneakily asked if I wanted it.
Her random act of kindness had made my day and I was eager to try it out.
The box included instructions, the cleanser, 2 brushes, sponges, batteries, a sample of cc cream and a small sample of the Nivea cleanser.
I applied to cleansing gel when I first got in the shower to my neck and face and attached the brush to the cleanser. Now they say one brush is softer than the other but I couldn't feel the difference.
To operate it you use the low speed in circular motions. It wasn't a pleasant experience unfortunately. The brush was very scratchy. I tried the "soft brush" and it too felt scratchy.
I tried the sponge to just to try them all and wasn't happy. My face felt like if been dragged through a rose bush!
After I had washed it off my face was right and uncomfortable. I quickly moisturised hoping that would give some relief but it didn't.
I was so disappointed because I wanted to love this product so much because the idea of it was great. I won't be using it again unfortunately! Have any of you lovely readers used this product before?
