Valentines day is one of those occasions that I love to hate. I have been single for many valentines day's and even now my partner doesn't celebrate it. So I know just how horrible it can make people feel. I am deep down a hopeless romantic and I will treat my partner even though I don't expect anything in return!
But, without doubt, valentines day is a great excuse to do some themed make up!
This look is effortless and quick, but enough to sparkle.

After first applying Estee Lauder Day Cream, I used Boot's balancing foundation in shade 17. I picked this up from a chemist in Melbourne for all of about $5 a couple years ago. It works very similarly to a CC cream and evens out all of the redness that I have. I normally apply this underneath my foundation but it works great on it's own.
For the eye area Revlon Diamond Dust brushed over the eye area gives shimmer, followed by a single coast of Maybelline XXL Pro Extension mascara. Shape is added to my face by filling in my eyebrows with Elf Eyebrow Kit in medium.
Lipstick by the Body Shop in shade 14 is swiped on my lips. The thing that bugs me about body shop lippy's is how the shade name isn't on the lipstick. This is a very sheen colour, but also very buildable. This lippy was a freebie from a magazine so I can't complain too much!
