Make up revolution is one of a few make up brands that I admire.
They have high quality products at a fraction of the price. I also admire the work they do with bloggers and the interaction they have with bloggers on social media.
In my recent beauty swap, the lovely Gemma sent me The Matte Effect foundation. The shade I have it in is true Ivory, which is pretty close to spot on.
The packaging is nice. Simple, but nothing flash. One thing that im not to keen on is the shimmery writing on the front, just because it makes it hard to take good photos (i'm being picky!)
The texture of the foundation isn't as thick as other matte foundations that I have tried. It is slightly runny and reminds me a little of the texture of Collection Cosmetic's matte foundation. It is unscented too.
This foundation promises 18 hours of matte cover. I would probably say that you get a solid 8 hours, which is still good for a foundation! It definately does turn your face matte like it promises.
I probably would wear this for days around the house, or when I don't want a heavy foundation as this is similar to a BB cream. I have actually been reaching for this daily during summer.
Have you used it before? How did you find it compared to your current foundation?
