Product Review // Maybelline Makeup Remover

I recently picked up this Maybelline Makeup Remover from my local warehouse after reading many mixed blog reviews on it. I had the impression that the blog community was pretty split on this product, so it made me want to test it for myself.

The Maybelline Makeup Remover is for eye's and lips, however I have used it on my entire face. It has big claims that it removes make up instantly, even waterproof make up is gone, you don't need to rub and is suitable for sensitive skin.
It also claims to be made of a Bi-Phase technology which breaks up your make up with no harsh rubbing or greasy residue. It's safe for contact lenses, sensitive eyes and also ophthalmologist tested.

Its in a transparent bottle with a small white cap. It stand's up nicely on my make up desk so there is very little spillage. When using it, at first it does feel very oily but that sensation fades after a few seconds.

I was very impressed with how easily it did remove my eye make up. I didn't have to scrub at my eye's at all. I am very sensitive around my eye area and this did not irritate it at all.

Howver, it did leave a slight discolouration on my lips after my matte lipstick had been removed. I also had to use a fair bit of product (3 cotton pads) - but that was when I removed all my face makeup.

It only cost's $6.99 for the bottle of remover (70mls) so for the price I really can't complain. Its affordable, you can pick it up from the warehouse and it does the job without irritation. Have you used this product before? xx
