W7 Lipstick // Review

W7 Lipstick's - Soft Lilac & Kir Royale

Hello buttercups!

I am forever on the hunt for a good lippy and when I stumbled across a new brand (for me) I was excited. I had heard murmurs about the brand W7 on various Facebook make up groups, mainly for their eye shadows, and grabbed some lipsticks to review. 

W7 is a UK brand specialising in quality, affordable make-up and accessories. The brand has in facet been around for 10 years, however it isn't easily available here in New Zealand. Im not totally familiar with all of the W7 products, however i'm sure I can get my hands on some more thanks to the beauty of online shopping.

W7 Soft Lilac

I picked these up from an Uncle Bill's Store while I was on holiday up in hawkes bay. I am quite cynical when it comes to super cheap make up brands (like Jordanna and w7) and this lipstick was only around $3. In my mind cheap isn't necessarily good and I'm used to paying $25 for a standard "drugstore" Lippy.

The packaging of these are solid, and I love the large circle bases they have. It makes for easy storage. 

Both of these lipsticks belong to the 'W7 Lipsticks The Reds' collection. 

Kir Royale: This one has a rather vampish feel to it. It is very highly pigmented and is more of a deep purple than a red. It has a slight shimmer to it and is very moisturising. It's a gorgeous rich colour that would suit a night out the best. Last's up to 5 hours before reapplying

Soft Lilac : This is a gorgeous metallic purple shade. It's elegant and perfect for day to day wear. This also has a slight shimmer to it but I love how metallic it dry's on your lips. It is also very nourishing and lasts for about 5 hours.

The only downside to these lipstick's are that you MUST wear a lip liner with them, as they easily smudge and bleed. 

I would love to know if you know of any sites that ship internationally for a cheap rate so I can add to the collection. I would pick these any other day over my cheaper drug store lippys!
