Garnier Micellar Water - Review

Good morning dollies !

The Garnier Micellar Water is a product that has stormed the beauty world. We have waited so long for it to appear on our shelves down under and when the press release came through with the date, I was very excited. I knew that it would be a massive game of hide and seek to actually find a bottle of this, but it would be worth the hunt.

I had seen mixed reviews on the Garnier Micellar Water and it took me 4 visits to my local supermarket to find a bottle.

For those who don't know what micellar is, it includes the renowned micelle/micella oil molecules which is in a water like formula and it thrives on anything that isn't water when it is applied to your skin. It latches onto dirt and oils that have been pushed into your skin and effectively removes them, quickly.

Garnier Micellar Water not only removes your make up with ease but it also cleanses your face.

I have recently been suffering from a horrendous break out on my lower chin and have noticed this clearing significantly within 3 days of using the micellar water. Hooray!

In the photo above I have swatched matte lipstick and waterproof mascara. The second photo is what one swipe of micellar water does, and by the second swipe of it (third photo) it is basically completely gone.

Now this does sting if you get it IN your eye and because I'm the clumsiness person ever I actually got it in my eye. But when it's not directly in your eye it is very very gentle. It has actually replaced my normal go - to maybelline make up remover.

After use, your face does feel damp and quite wet for about 30 seconds before it dries leaving you feeling fresh and fabulous.

The bottle claims that you get approximately 200 uses from the one bottle and at $12.99 a pop you can't complain!
