Happiness has different meanings to different people but if there is something that we all genuinely strive for, it is to be happy. Not every moment in life will be rainbows and butterflies but there are certain things that we can do to try and find that happiness.
I believe in living a life of gratitude and if you start thanking the universe for the small things that you get, then in manifests into bigger and better things.
Here are ten things to try.
- Get rid of anything in your life that is un fulfilling.
- Surround yourself with positive people.
- Practise positive affirmations.
- Read positive things (Miranda Kerr's book's Empower yourself and Treasure Yourself are great for this).
- Learn to say no - it is hard but it will be worth it.
- Stop comparing yourself to others.
- Create your own zen space. (I love to use candle's around the house to totally relax and Norah Jones' music always calms me right down).
- Be open minded.
- Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try new things.
- Think of 3 things you were greatfull for each day (manifest that positivity!).
