Forever 21 lip plumper

Hey babes!

I'm always interested when something says that it is  a lip plumper. Like, in my mind this product is going to give me Kylie Jenner lips instantly. So I picked up this little beauty to give it a go.

This is from forever 21's love and beauty cosmetic range. It's classy gold packaging and sleek shape makes it perfect for carrying around in your clutch. The packaging has a high - end make up feel to it and I think that it is the gold lid that does it.

The lip plumper is in the colour champagne and has a slightly minty smell to it. It has an applicator sponge on the end of it and application is easy although I find it makes my lips tingle for a few seconds... which surely can't be the best for them.

Although the majority of the colour champagne is clear, it has a slight shimmer to it which glistens when it catches the sun.

So as far as being a lip plumper goes it think it failed terribly. Unless my understanding of what a lip plumper should be like is wrong, but I think the product description really needs to change. It does however act OK as a gloss for everyday wear.
