Lush face masks review

Having a good skincare routine is essential to having good skin. Also taking into note what you put on your face is important as your skin absorbs some of those ingredients.

I'm a huge fan of "face mask friday" and unwinding with a nice mask at the end of the week helps get rid of the weeks stress and worry.

Lush have come out with some amazing new products to help you relax and refresh your skin. Lush face masks come in a range of 6 different masks and they are each designed with a specific skin type in mind.

I was lucky enough to be able to try Oatifix and BB seaweed masks.

Oatifix* is specifically designed for dry skin. It contains many delicious things such as rosemary, lime juice (to detoxify), coriander, parsley, sage and juniperberry.  It is of a light brown colour and the texture is rough as you can feel all the ingredient's in the mask on your fingers. Oatifix will help hydrate, exfoliate and treat your skin.

BB Seaweed* is a soft mask that will cleanse and soften your skin. This mask contains ingrediants such as fresh seaweed, calming aloe and rose and antiseptic honey. This one is a slight green colour and again of a thick texture.

Oatifix is first followed by BB. This swatch shows the thick consistency of the product.

To be honest, I was pretty bored when the store assistant said she recommended Oatifix for me as there were some exciting masks such as cupcake or chocolate mask, Oat's didn't take my fancy. However after I finally used it, It has really been the best for my skin. It really does clear my skin and it smell's really good! 

I enjoy using BB Seaweed before bed as it truley does relax me. It makes my skin feel a little tight but the calming properties totally outweigh the slight pull.

These can be purchased online and instore for $16.50. I have had a quick look at the online store and a lot of these mask;s have sold out online so I would recommend calling in to the store and talking to one of the lovely shop assistants, because they really can recommend the best mask for your skin!
