NEW BEAUTY TREND - Strobing

Raise your hand if you tried to contour? I Think about 99% of us right now have our hands high in the air. It was a concept we all loved even if we couldn't do it. 

I was one who was like "I NEED a contour kit. This will change my life". And then after following a thousand steps I still didn't look like kim kardashian on a bad day.

Well there is a new beauty trend in town and essentially it is half of the effort to contour. It's basically just highlighting but with a new name.. introducing "strobing".

I have no idea how it's name came about but it is highlighting where the sun hits your face with a lovely shimmery highlighter.

Here is a face map with where to put the highlighter on your face for maximum effect. If you were to take strobing one step further and go in with a bronzer then it would become contouring, making sense?

Highlighters can be picked up nearly anywhere and it's finding one that you love that will work well with strobing.

I used elf facial whip and can not recommend it enough. It is a cream highlighter and a little goes a long way. Once you apply it you have a couple minutes to blend it in and move it around before it sets. It is best to blend with your fingers or a beauty blender for the best glow.

Then you will look like a dewey goddess. Taa dah!!
