Sheryl May Spring 15 Collection

Spring.

It's the season that gives us hope that it is instantly going to become warmer and when everyone's mood generally becomes more uplifting. It's also the season where clothes get prettier and makeup gets lighter.

Sheryl May is a New Zealand designer who's spring collection has recently been launched. This year it incorporates tones of red, coral, blue and green. Patterns of stripes in different ways are a main theme in Sheryl's spring collection, as well as a soft pattern of a butterfly wing that beautifully integrates the colour in the clothes. I have been very fortunate to be sent some amazing pieces to shoot for you.

Now my idea behind this was to be in a field of flowers with gorgeous gown, however as spring is very temperamental this wasn't achievable. For two weeks we had rain and temperatures around 8 degrees. As we approached the daffodil farm to shoot we realised that none of the flower had bloomed. We needed to make the most of the fine weather so we decided to spontaneously head up to the ski field and while we were there we shot the photos along the way.

Keep Sake Pussy Bow Blouse.

This is such a versatile top. The fabric is beautifully soft and of pure white with a soft pattern sketched onto the front of it. The tie can be worn in a multiple of ways. I prefer it open and draped over my neck or it can be tied in a cute bow. (NB: pants are not in included in this collection.)

Tidal Skirt

This is my favourite piece out of Sheryl's spring collection. With a comfy elastic waist the white a line skirt beautifully merges with a peach colour at the bottom in much like a sunken tie die effect. The skirt is three quarters in lengths and can be paired with flats for the day or heels to turn it into an evening look. I have aired it with the versatile keep sake pussy bow blouse for an effortlessly gorgeous look. I love the way the snow makes the orange pop.

Lace T-Shirt

This lace shirt is a comfortable yet stylish addition to any girls wardrobe. The style is flattering on all body shapes even us curvy girls! The lace sits just under the breast and continues to around your kid/crop top area. It is lightweight and doesn't restrict your  arms or movement. The lace on the bottom of this shirt takes the style of it from casual to stylish.

I was sent a couple other pieces to try but unfortunately they didn't fit so I can only show you these items. However I can whole heartedly tell you that the pieces are of top quality and you need this collection your life.
