Feet are one body part that make me cringe. Even with a good pedicure and some nail art it's still hard to make your feet look good. But, in saying that they do take alot of pain and deserve some TLC from time to time.
I am ashamed to admit that my feet are cracked and gross! I was a dancer for 16 years growing up so that shaped them and tested them. After that I was a flight attendant and wore heels for twelve hours a day so my poor feet didn't get a break then. NOW, I chase around a toddler all day and my feet hurt just as much as what they did while I was working in heels.
Luckily, Lush has pulled through and i've been pretty lucky to get my hands on some of their releases that hit stores back in February. The foot care range particularly appealed to me as I am always looking for creams to provide foot relief. I've got a Pumice Power Foot Soap* and Softy Foot Lotion* to review for you.
Pumice Power Foot Soap* - RRP $12.50
Pumice has always been a gem that you go hunting for on the beach and it's an old beauty secret that you take it home and use on your feet in the shower for clean gorgeous feet. Pumice Power Foot Soap has a slight orange scent too it which is refreshing. It's not to rough on your feet which is nice, but at the same time it does a great job of removing dead skin. I recommend this for anyone's feet who have been feeling a little sore from over work!
Softy Foot Lotion* - RRP $19.90 for 100g // $31.50 for 250g
First of all, can I just comment on how cute this name is! For some reason it makes me think of a giant fluffy marshmellow and if it can make my feet feel like a marshmellow then i'm all for that!
This contains good things like almond oil, cocoa butter, lavender and chamomile. Lavender in itself has so many relaxing properties so combining it with all the other things means your feet are in for the ultimate treat.
After the first night that I used this, I woke up and my feet were noticeably softer. I continued to use this for three days in a row as the cracks in my feet were quite sore and walking on my heels was problematic. After using it for a couple nights, my feet did not hurt at all to walk on and the skin was so much softer. Normally I use a product from Avon for my heel's but this not only work's but smells yummy too. I will happily make this my go to foot care product from now!
Lush has released a whole lot of items that will have you feeling fresh from head to toe so if you haven't been into your nearest lush store recently go pop in and have a look. Also, who doesn't love the smell that comes out of the Lush store everytime you walk past! haha.
Lipstick and love! x
