I'm always in search of the perfect highlight and contour palette. There are so many different ones out there to choose from and sometimes you don't even know where to begin!
One that I have been interested in for a while is the Solstice palette by Sleek. It has been mentioned in so many YouTube vlog's by people such as Jaclyn Hill and Manny MUA that for the price of it I just had to get it and try it.
The palette includes 4 highlights. One cream, two baked powder's and one shimmer powder. They each can be applied to different areas of your body or you can just use them to highlight your face.
My first impression of the palette was how high end it looks. The plain metallic gold packaging gives it an expensive illusion. The packaging isn't over crowded at all with just the logo written on it. The box has full instructions on the back and detailed descriptions on how to apply it.
The shades are very pigmented. I find the powder highlights to be more pigmented than the cream one. I also find the cream highlighter takes quite a bit of time and effort to blend in.
If you use a setting spray over top of these highlights you will still be glowing 7 hours later. So for $27 NZD I definitely think this is an affordable palette for you to have in your makeup collection this summer.
