Good morning sunflowers!

Christmas is fast approaching and if your trying to pretend that you have your act together you will be looking at what to get the kids for Christmas.

Books are something that I love giving my kids as bedtime is such a special time spent unwinding reading a story at the end of the day with the boys. My partner does story time in the evenings if he's home which is such a lovely way to see him bond with the boys.

I was kindly sent the book How To Catch Santa* by Jean Reagan. It's a book that answers all the tricky questions that your kids may have about Santa.  How does he get into houses with no chimneys? Which is a very real question for those of us who live in Christchurch after the earthquakes!  Where do you park the rain deer?  how fast do the rain deer fly to be able to visit every house in one night? Do the elves hide in your sleigh sometimes?

The illustrations in this book are beautiful. The metallic cover gets me excited that Christmas is approaching. The pictures are beautiful drawn and make it a fun story for little ones to read.

This book would also make a great idea for those adults who partake in "elf on the shelf" I know our elf will be reading this book taking notes one night on how to catch the big guy in red.
