Good morning beauties!
If you have been following my blog for a while now you will have seen the sporadic post in a maternity OOTD series where I try to bring you different options at a range of prices while pregnant. I have struggled throughout my pregnancies with the idea that I don't want to spend a huge amount of money for clothing that will only fit for a short amount of time but also want to be comfortable and stylish at the same time.
Even though I am no longer pregnant I wanted to gather all the information that I had shared with you about where I had found suitable clothing that didn't break the bank while I was pregnant.
So I have collated all my post's here to show you that no matter what your budget you can find something that also makes you feel good. I want this post to be a one stop informative post that will link you to the pieces you need to feel comfortable.
Outfit 1 - Kmart Styling
This outfit was purchased entirely from Kmart. They do have their own specific 'maternity' line which you can purchase however these items were from the standard every day range and with the sizes available I was able to just purchase the next size up. This outfit came in at under $50 NZD! See the entire outfit details here!
Outfit 2 - Floral Blazer
You can never go wrong with a floral or coloured blazer to spice up any outfit. It add's a touch of sophistication and you can get them from most major chain stores. However, I purchase this one from ebay and it was super cheap. I only paid a couple dollars for it and brought it for a specific event. For the price I paid I didn't expect it to last two long and I got around 4 months of frequent wear out of it. So I definately recommend adding this to your maternity wardrobe - just be sure to purchase it a couple sizes bigger than what you normally wear as ebay sizing is rather small. See the post here.
Outfit 3 - ASOS Skater Dress
Chiffron is a fabric that suits so many body types. It's super flowy and doesn't cling at all to any part of our bodies. ASOS has produced this gorgeous derss is a skater style which also flatters so many people. This is ideal for summer bbq's or just any occasion where you want to look a little bit fancy with minimum effort. Check it out here.
Outfit 4 - ASOS Double Layered Dress.
I love this outfit because it is so versitile. It's a dress which flatter's so many different pregnant body shapes but also has long sleeve's so totally acceptable to wear during the colder months. I love that it gather's under the bust and isn't too tight. It also has a nice tear drop cut out on the back which breaks up the colour nicely. I have had some people tell me that they went to purchase this after seeing the post and it was out of stock! I'm so sorry! I hope ASOS replenish their stock ASAP so more of you pregnant mama's can get ahold of it! Outfit details here.

Cheap dresses which I found perfect for the beginning days post birth can be found here. They are of a soft fabric that don't cling to your tummy and are so cheap. I purchased three for my first pregnancy and am still going strong with the same three at the end of my second pregnancy. Only thing is that it takes a wee while to ship being from ebay so order in advanced. Short sleeved option here , long sleeved dresses here. (If the link has expired please just search the seller: futuro-mama on ebay)
Jeans? By far the best place I have found for maternity jeans is jeanswest. They sit over the bump and don't fall down during the day.
If your after maternity PJ's check out Peter Alexander. Stylish and breastfeeding suitable. I have also heard that ASOS produce great maternity PJ's too.
