NAILS// Nailed It NZ Essentials Kit Review + Easter Nails

Not too long ago you may have seen that I was sent some lovely nail art brushes by the super talented Jessie at Nailed it NZ. I've finally managed to find some time to sit down and use these brushes while following one of Jessie 's tutorials. Jessie is originally a blogger who has made the leap and created the Nail Tools Essential Kit so that everyday people like you and I can feel a million dollars with beautiful nails. 

The Nail Tools Essential Kit comes with 4 brushes that set you up to do any nail look you please.  The small angled brush is known as the clean up brush which is ideal for tidying up the edges and mistakes. The striping brush is the one with the longer bristles and is for lines in any direction. Vertical , horizontal, diagonal - it is easy to do. The Detail brush which does exactly what the name suggests. It is versatile and can be used to add details to your nail. Lastly the dotting tool which helps you to create little dots nicely. Perfect for Easter nails!

I followed the latest Easter tutorial on Nailed It NZ's YouTube page. I didn't have the same colours as what was used in the video but I had similar. There are so many different tutorials on her page too. From Moana right through to the Easter nails - which I have chosen to do. 

Jessie makes it seem easy to do and she is super talented. I have to admit I nearly gave up after attempting the bunny three times but we got there. I followed step by step and managed to get some design onto my nails.

I love how much detail Jessie gives in her tutorials. And she even tells you which brushes to use. I found the detail brush worked best for me if I held it close to the bristles. I felt like I had more control over the movement. I'm not sure if that is the correct way to use it but I suggest starting like that.

The striping brush was easy to use and gave clean lines. I enjoyed creating patterns with this brush and like the look it gives.

I would recommend grabbing a set of these brushes for any nail enthusiast. The brushes work perfectly with any gel polish and normal nail polish. It is a nice way to unwind in the evenings and get pretty nails without paying a fortune every two weeks. The quality of these brushes are very high. I had a stray bristle when I first went to use my detail brush but that was easy enough to tame.
