Morning mums!
How often are you taking photos of your kids with everyone else? All the time? You want to snap photos of your children and their aunties, friends, grandparents and so many of the children and their dad's.
But because you aren't in the picture, when your children are adults there will be one person always missing. You! It's time to have a chat with our partners and family and tell them to just pick up the camera / phone and start snapping. And mums - it doesn't matter if you have no makeup on, baggy clothes, only had three hours sleep and your rocking the five day old mum bun. This is what the real face of motherhood looks like. Your kids just want to look back and see you in the photo.
Chatbooks have stated the movement that mums need to #getinthepicture . I absolutely agree that we need to be in the picture more. If all else fails then switch your phone to front camera and snap a few photos. There's always someone around who you could ask to snap a photo of you and your kids too.
Chatbooks creates photo books for you very easily. I have a code that you can get your FIRST BOOK FOR FREE. Shipping to New Zealand is super affordable too and starts at only $2. Of course the bigger and heavier the book is the more shipping will cost as its done by weight.

I was two weeks into mys econd child. I hadn't brushed my hair or taken that dressing gown off for a week. |
Simply select the photo album you want or the individual photos if you have time, and chatbooks will arrange them all into the pages for you.
To get your first book free simply use the code LIPSTICKANDBUBBLES before you complete the last step and process payment. You can always enter this code every time you create a chatbook and any discounts that are running at the time will be added to your order.
Rainy day, tired and a hungry baby. |
I've added some photos that I look teeeerrriiible in but I feel like it's the reality of being a mum. It's all about getting in the picture and not always looking our best. I've been brave enough to share mine now I want to see yours.
Upload your post to social media and simply use the hashtag #getinthepicture and feel free to tag me (@morethanmakeupx) and let's encourage mums to start snapping themselves in with their kids.
Lipstick and love!
