#Mumlife // Conversations With My Four Year Old - 1st Edition
Good morning lovely!
Kids say the darnest things don't they? Because some of the things they come up with are absolutely hilarious I thought I'd start sharing them with you all.
They bring a smile to my day and I can only hope you get a wee giggle from some of these.
Conversations with my four year old.
That one time I had to tell him over and over "Don't lick your brother".
Upon telling me he had the hiccups I began to sing a song about making the hiccups go away. His response? "Your singing is making them worse. Stop singing."
Me "where are your manners?"
M "they're hiding"
The next day -
M "please can you pass me my drink?"
Me - "absolutely. Lovely manners"
M - "oh no mum my manners are starting to hide again"
M's favourite game to play at Kindy is mums and dads. Someone took off with his baby.
M - "do you know mum someone took off with my baby today. So I got on my police bike and found that boy with my baby. Then I took my bike back and he punched me"
(FYI - other kid shouldn't be hiting. Teachers dealt with it . )
Me "where are your manners?"
M "I drank too much strawberry milk and it flushed them away"
Whilst feeding Mr8months a ham ssndwhich for lunch I went to get more Ham.
M "why are you giving him more food? Don't waste it!"
"M! Why didn't you listen to me?"
M "because I had stones in my ears" 😂
On our way to the dentist for me. He asked if I was scared and I replied yes.
M "don't worry mum I was scared at the dentist too. But then I was brave. You can be brave too" 💝💝
Seruous face "mum I got some bad news today. Isaac lost his action man."
I hope these gave you a wee laugh and brightened your day because it sure as heck brightens my day every time he says something hilarious.
What is the funniest thing you have been told by a kid lately?
Lipstick and love! Xx
