What to wear NYE // Blog Collab

Hi beautiful butterflies!

I honestly can not believe that I'm writing this post already. Where has the year gone ?! It seems like only yesterday that I was making my new years resolution s for this year (not too sure how many of them I actually achieved!) .

Anyway, if you are like me and get so caught up in the Christmas buzz that once it's over you haven't got long to prepare for new years, your going to need some outfit inspo. First, let's look at make up. 

I think this is one of the few nights a year where it is acceptable to go crazy with glitter, shimmer baby shimmer !  I love this little pot of eye shadow from LA Colors. It was only $5 and is so sparkly! It's loose pigments, and I love applying them wet for a bit more glam.

A nice blush on your cheeks also gives your face a good colour. Currently I love The Balm, Hot Mama.

For your lips, this beautiful purple from Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine range is perfect!

Now for the outfits. We're so lucky to be in the middle of summer in New Zealand for NYE, and that means Preeeeety dresses. Because we will have my son with us this year, we're just having a bbq and bubbles with a few friends. Here are a few dresses to suit every budget.
