Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation Review

Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous

Ready set gorgeous! Sounds like a simple three step action plan doesn't it. That's what I had hoped it would be when I saw the new foundation brought out by covergirl.

After seeing reviews of this product on one of my favourite bloggers page, I set out to find it and what a mission it was! I learnt that farmer's don't stock Covergirl and that K-mart has covergirl but not this particular foundation. I looked online and none of them had a good range of cover girl make up. So thankfully the warehouse had this one and they had 30% off. I ended up picking this up for about $13 and it normally retails at $20.

Ready, Set, Gorgeous is a medium to full coverage foundation that blends evenly into the skin and reduces shine all day. It is said to be perfect for sensitive skin and oil free.

I love the packaging of it and think the colours make it look pretty cute. The catch phrase ready set gorgeous also appeals to me as its catchy and flirty.

The colour I have is true Ivory which is the lightest shade available (I'm so pale!). There are 12 shades to chose from in the foundation and 6 shades in the concealer/powder. It is almost a perfect match for my skin and I was suprised at how well it suited as there were no testers available at the store.

I got about 8 hours wear out of the foundation before I started to notice a few patches. In the ready set gorgeous range there is also a concealer and powder available which I am yet to purchase.

I would definately recommend this foundation to those with sensitive skin especially, my skin was not irritated at all by this which is pretty impressive. It's one of the cheaper foundations out there too so is very affordable.

So why wait! Go and grab this for your make up stash now!

Have you come accross this yet? What are your thoughts? xx
