If there's one thing that I really treasure being a mum, it's story time at the end of the day. Crawling into bed with a couple books to read to my son has always been a family affair and there is nothing like winding down after a busy day.
The Lion Inside was sent to me recently and has been a welcomed edition to my son's book shelf. The Lion Inside is a heart warming story of how a little mouse tries his hardest to be heard. We follow the little mouse on a journey while he tries his hardest to be heard as he discover's along the way his inner lion. He teaches us and our children that everyone has a lion inside, no matter how big or tall we may be.
What I love about this story is that it teaches us that even though although we may be quiet, we all have a lion inside and the mouse was just as brave as the lion. The illustrations are beautiful in this book too!
If your child is a fan of Giraffe's Can't Dance and The Gruffalo then I highly recommend picking this up for your household. It has definitely become a bedtime favourite here!
