Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. That's what tradition says and even though times are changing and evolving, people are still wanting to keep an aspect of tradition in their wedding. From what people have told me, trickiest thing to incorporate is the something blue bit. So I've thought of some modern ways you can keep something blue in your wedding in a unique way.
❤ Blue Pedicure
Weather your shoes are open toed or closed in if you paint your tootsie blue then you don't need to worry about finding some the blue for the rest of your wedding.
❤ Blue lingerie
A more subtle and personal way to include the color blue. Remember it doesn't have to be a deep sea blue, a pastel blue set could work depending on the colour of your wedding dress. It's not classy to see anything through the dress.
❤ Write your wedding vowels in blue ink.
Another modern way to incorporate blue is to write your vowels in blue ink. To make it super special keep your vowels to be framed after the wedding.
❤ Wear the perfume "light blue" by Dolce and Gabanna.
This idea is a bit cheeky as your not technically including the colour blue, but it is a very modern idea to include blue in some way for your wedding.
❤ Get your bridal party to sign your shoes in blue.
If your not planning on having photos with the bottoms of your shoe showing then get your bridal party to leave a week message on the bottom of your shoes. Who needs a guest book when you've got shoes right! Just kidding.
