Lifestyle // Why I'm Not Sorry For Being Festive AF

Festive AF

Its currently November. Mid November.

My four year old has been asking for weeks to put the christmas tree up. Everything revolves around Christmas you see. If a kid is naughty at kindergarten he tells me they're getting coal from Santa . I've also threatened to cancel Christmas a handful of times also,  to be fair.

But I negotiated with my tiny dictator a week ago and compromised that we could put tinsel in the lounge but the tree would have to wait. And then I thought what's the harm?

When you have young kids you truly understand the magic of Christmas. Even my one year old stood by the tree signing "twinkle twinkle" last night when he woke and saw the fairy lights illuminated. It was magical.

We are having Christmas at the grandparents house so were away for a couple weeks. It's not quite the same when you dont get to see YOUR tree all beautifully lit with lights.

So our tree is up and the lights are on every morning and evening. Even though the constant nagging of "can I have a candy cane now?" Is getting a bit old these are the things I'll miss because before you know it they will be all grown up.
