L'Oreal Paris False Lash Superstar Mascara + Superstar Superliner Review

Im here again to share with you some of the new releases from L'Oreal. You would have caught my matte lippy's post and if you didn't you can read it here.

False Lash Super Star Mascara

The false lash superstar mascara is quite a large mascara. It towers in size over all the other mascara's I have in it's sleek packaging. The black and silver colour scheme is timeless and makes this mascara easy on the eye.

There are two parts to this mascara. The first is a white primer and the second is the black ink of the mascara. The point of the primer is to cover and prepare your lashes for the volume that they will get with the second part of the mascara.

The primer is quite dry. I find you have to get a good amount on the brush to cover all your lashes. It also dries pretty fast so you need to get that on ASAP and not wave the brush around. On the flip side you don't have to wait long until you can go in with the second step.

Then the second part of the mascara is the black colour and length. This is a more creamier formula and easier to apply than the primer. The brush is curved so its easy to manoeuvre around your lashes.

Although I find the primer a bit fiddly but the end result is lot's of length and volume which I do like.

Superstar Superliner 

The super star super liner is meant to make it easy to get that perfect wing. Black ink is released gradually so that your not flooded with ink all at once and the tip is a very precise point. It's the perfect size to hold just like a pen which means you have total control over the liner It is easy to get the desired thickness of the wing that you want. I have hooded eyes and have found this super easy to create sharp wings. I wore this all day in thirty degree heat and it stayed on and didn't smudge - so impressed!
